Terms Of Use
These terms are written in two views: the enforceable wording on the left and a plain reading guide on the right. The guide is only a convenience; the legal wording controls if the two ever conflict.
1. Scope and Domain
These Terms apply only to the public website located at https://meko.co and pages served from that root domain. They do not apply to subdomains, applications, APIs, stores, accounts, subscriptions, products, services, offline agreements, or third-party websites unless that separate property expressly links to or incorporates these Terms.
These rules cover meko.co itself. A subdomain like app.meko.co needs its own terms unless it clearly says these terms apply.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, you must stop using the website.
If you use the site, these rules apply. If you disagree, do not use it.
3. Informational Website
The website and its content are provided for general informational purposes only. Nothing on the website creates a professional, fiduciary, employment, agency, partnership, or contractual relationship unless a separate written agreement expressly says so.
The site explains ideas. It does not, by itself, create a formal relationship.
4. Ownership and Content
The website, design, layout, text, graphics, logos, images, code, and other materials are owned by Meko or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property, unfair competition, and related laws. You may view the website for personal, non-commercial informational purposes only. No part of the website may be copied, mirrored, republished, transmitted, modified, or used commercially without prior written permission, except where the website expressly allows it or law requires it.
You can browse the site. You cannot broadly copy, reuse, mirror, or sell its content.
5. Your Use of the Website
You may use the website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not interfere with its operation, security, infrastructure, or any other person's use. You may not attempt unauthorized access, probe or test systems without permission, introduce malicious code, scrape or crawl at unreasonable volume, bypass technical protections, disguise the origin of requests, impersonate another person, or use the website to violate any law or third-party right.
Use the site normally and legally. Do not attack, overload, copy abusively, or misuse it.
6. Other Terms, Purchases, and Accounts
If Meko later offers purchases, accounts, applications, subscriptions, promotions, private areas, downloads, or other services, separate terms may apply. If separate terms conflict with these Terms for that feature, the separate terms control for that feature. These Terms do not change any separate written agreement you may have with Meko.
Specific products, apps, accounts, or contracts can have their own rules.
7. Third-Party Services and Links
The website may reference, link to, display, or depend on third-party websites, files, fonts, images, platforms, or services. Meko does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and may be governed by separate terms.
Outside services have their own rules and risks. Meko is not responsible for them.
8. Privacy and Internet Transmissions
Internet transmissions are not always private or secure. Any privacy notice posted by Meko for the website will govern personal information covered by that notice. If no separate privacy notice applies, you should avoid sending sensitive information through the website.
Do not assume anything sent online is fully private. Use any posted privacy notice.
9. No Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, or security.
The site is offered as it is. Meko does not promise it will always be perfect or available.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Meko and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, partners, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data, goodwill, use, business, or revenue, arising from or related to the website or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Meko limits responsibility for broad categories of losses connected to site use.
11. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Meko and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, partners, and licensors from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your use of the website, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
If your misuse creates a claim against Meko, you may be responsible for the cost.
12. Violations and Remedies
Meko may suspend, block, or restrict access to the website if it reasonably believes you violated these Terms, created risk, or used the website unlawfully. Meko may seek legal or equitable remedies for violations, including injunctive relief where monetary damages would not be adequate.
Misuse can lead to blocked access or legal action where appropriate.
13. Changes and Availability
Meko may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website or these Terms at any time. Updated Terms are effective when posted unless they state otherwise. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
The site and terms can change. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Meko is legally organized, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction, and all claims must be brought individually and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative action, to the extent permitted by law.
Disputes use Meko's home law where allowed, and claims should be individual where lawful.
15. Void Where Prohibited and Local Laws
The website is controlled from the place where Meko operates. Access to the website may not be appropriate or available in all locations. If you access the website from another location, you are responsible for complying with local laws.
If local law affects your use of the site, you are responsible for following it.
16. Legal Limits
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, limitations, or waivers. In those places, these Terms apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect, and the unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable where possible.
If part of the terms cannot legally apply, the rest should still keep working.
17. Feedback
If you send ideas, suggestions, comments, or other feedback about the website or Meko, you grant Meko permission to use that feedback without restriction or compensation, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
If you send suggestions, Meko can use them without owing payment.
